In 2015 the AHSCA WA Chapter formed a partnership proposal with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). CIBSE is an international professional organization representing Building Services Engineering.
One of CIBSE’s main objectives is to support the science, art and practice of building services engineering by providing its members and the public with first class information and education services whilst promoting the spirit of fellowship.
Another of CIBSE’s main aims is to promote the career of Building Services Engineers by accrediting courses of study in further and higher education and also by approving work-based training programmes and providing routes to full professional registration and membership, including Chartered Engineer (CEng), Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and Engineering Technician (Eng. Tech) status.
